Gajah Gallery is proud to present another ground-breaking exhibition by the much sought-after ceramist, Jason Lim.
‘New Drawing’ is an extension of his earlier, “Drawing Series’. An exploration in markings, Jason transfers on patterns inspired by his earlier works and nature. He chose to create plates, whose flatness renders it almost like a blank canvas on which he works. In contrast to his previous large works and sculptures, fragility describes this series – wafer thin porcelain and earthenware in a mostly nude palette. This new found delicate approach extends his unique personal style.
Jason Lim’s work is among the permanent collection of the Singapore Art Museum.
