Gallery Intern
Design
Job Title: Intern
Location: Jakarta and Philippines
Reports To: Design Manager
Job Type: Internship
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with designing collateral for the exhibitions and projects
- Help with administrative tasks and day to day operations
- Assist in preparing for exhibitions in the gallery
- Assist in preparing for art fairs
- 4-5 day work week including 1 weekend day (either Sat and Sun).
Interns are also expected to attend most gallery-organized events (usually 2 in a month)
Qualifications:
- Passion for the arts and a desire to be actively involved in the art community
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and a basic knowledge of Abode Applications
primarily Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator - Strong graphic design skills
- Patient, hardworking and willing to learn
- Basic knowledge of Southeast Asian art and artists is a bonus
- May be required to work on public holidays
- May be required to work on special events

Gallery Intern
Administrative
Job Title: Intern
Location: Singapore and Philippines
Reports To: Registrar and/or Artist Liaison
Job Type: Internship
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in exhibition installations and art handling
- Assist the Gallery openings, special events and meetings, such as the preparation of beverages,
room reservations, press packets, catalogues, etc. - Provide information by answering general questions and requests
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- 4-5 day work week including 1 weekend day (either Sat and Sun).
Interns are also expected to attend most gallery-organized events (usually 2 in a month)
Qualifications:
- Passion for the arts and a desire to be actively involved in the art community
- Candidates should be able to use Microsoft Office, Adobe programmes
- Patient, hardworking and willing to learn
- Willing to perform hands-on tasks
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Southeast Asian art and artists is a bonus
- May be required to work on public holidays
- May be required to work on special events
