Gallery Intern
Design


Job Title: Intern
Location: Jakarta and Philippines
Reports To: Design Manager
Job Type: Internship

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with designing collateral for the exhibitions and projects 
  • Help with administrative tasks and day to day operations
  • Assist in preparing for exhibitions in the gallery
  • Assist in preparing for art fairs 
  • 4-5 day work week including 1 weekend day (either Sat and Sun).
    Interns are also expected to attend most gallery-organized events (usually 2 in a month)

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the arts and a desire to be actively involved in the art community
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and a basic knowledge of Abode Applications
    primarily Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Patient, hardworking and willing to learn
  • Basic knowledge of Southeast Asian art and artists is a bonus
  • May be required to work on public holidays
  • May be required to work on special events

Gallery Intern
Administrative


Job Title: Intern
Location: Singapore and Philippines
Reports To: Registrar and/or Artist Liaison
Job Type: Internship

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in exhibition installations and art handling
  • Assist the Gallery openings, special events and meetings, such as the preparation of beverages,
    room reservations, press packets, catalogues, etc.
  • Provide information by answering general questions and requests
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • 4-5 day work week including 1 weekend day (either Sat and Sun).
    Interns are also expected to attend most gallery-organized events (usually 2 in a month)

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the arts and a desire to be actively involved in the art community
  • Candidates should be able to use Microsoft Office, Adobe programmes
  • Patient, hardworking and willing to learn
  • Willing to perform hands-on tasks
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Southeast Asian art and artists is a bonus
  • May be required to work on public holidays
  • May be required to work on special events
