‘Zoom Vietnam’ showcased the latest works by artist Le Thiet Cuong, inspired by socio-realist art in Vietnam prevalent from 1945-1975.
Best known for his minimal, geometric and almost abstract style of art, the artist works with medium such as gouche on cheesecloth, woodblock prints and oil on canvas. His signature subjects include bowls, houses, figures and landscapes. Cuong graduated from film school, majoring in set design and animation.
