Phan Cam Thouing’s paintings tell of his delicate love for culture, particularly the spiritual aspects of Vietnamese village life. His use of mineral colour dyes and ink on silk or do paper exemplifies the gaged charm of Vietnamese tradition.

Bang Sy Truc comes from a long line of renowned artists and intellectuals in Vietnam’s literary, music and fine arts circle. Truc’s works, simple and almost monochromatic, bring to attention the space around his subject matters – suggesting the Zen thought that nothing or indeed everything attains primacy.
