Gajah Gallery Jakarta presents a general hang featuring prominent and promising artists across Southeast Asia.
Gajah Gallery Jakarta was inaugurated in 2022 after 25 years of running fruitful establishments in Singapore and Yogyakarta. After years of working with Indonesia’s innovative and historically significant artists, expanding to its capital city of Jakarta was the natural direction to take for the Gallery to continue contributing meaningfully to the art scene. The Gallery is located in the area’s prestigious residential complex Casa Domaine, which sits at the heart of the city and is known for the liveliness of its business district.
The gallery programme extends across Singapore and and Indonesia, and continues to support the work of Southeast Asian artists through a full calendar of exhibitions each year, curated by the region’s leading academics and art historians.
