Rizki Tilarso

(b. 1995, Indonesia)

Tilarso completed his studies in Fine Art at the prestigious Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, where he developed a diverse skill set across multiple artistic disciplines. Since then, he has become an active participant in numerous art projects across Indonesia, working primarily with painting, installation, and video. His works are deeply influenced by the idea of visual diaries and fragmented imagery, exploring these elements not only as expressions but also as objects that invite reinterpretation and recontextualisation.With nearly a decade of experience in the arts, Tilarso has worn multiple hats within the creative industry, contributing as an artist, assistant manager, artistic director, and project initiator. His broad involvement allows him to engage with both the conceptual and organisational aspects of art-making. As a member of Yogyakarta-based collectives, Sakato Art Community and Sekutu Imajiner, Tilarso actively contributes to the development of the local art scene, promoting community engagement and collaborative artistic growth.
