Born in Gunungkidul, Indonesia, Raden Kukuh Hermadi graduated from ISI Yogyakarta, majoring in fine arts with a concentration in graphic arts. In his work, he is interested in navigating stories from his birthplace—in particular, its obscured myths and histories. He works with various mediums such as paint, video, and print.
