    Gusmen Heriadi, born in Pariaman, West Sumatra, Indonesia in 1974, is an accomplished artist based in Yogyakarta. He studied Fine Arts at the Sumatera Barat Senior High School and the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta. Gusmen has participated in numerous art exhibitions globally and has held several solo exhibitions. He is a recipient of various visual arts awards. Gusmen co-founded the art collectives Genta and Solusi 4, and was a member of the Sakato Art Community. In 2015, he founded RuangDalam Art House in Yogyakarta, an alternative art space for artists across generations.
