    Anggun Priambodo lives and works in Jakarta, Indonesia. Graduated from Jakarta Institute of Art, majoring in Interior Design. Known as a director and visual artist, he was awarded Best Director for a music video at the MTV Indonesia Video Music Awards in 2004. His video works and installations have been presented in numerous international exhibitions, including Ok. Video – Jakarta International Video Festival, No Soul for Sale at Tate Modern in London, Move on Asia in Seoul, Moving Images from Indonesia at Para Site Art Space (Hong Kong), Sunshower in Tokyo and Kaohsiung, the Singapore Biennale, Jogja Biennale, and others.

    In 2010, Anggun held his first solo exhibition, Toko Keperluan, at RURU Gallery. His most recent solo exhibition, Monopoly Wijaya, took place at Sunset Limited Jakarta in 2020. His video work Sinema Elektronik was awarded Best Work at the Bandung Contemporary Art Awards in 2011. In 2022, his short film Evacuation of Mama Emola won the Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the Sundace Film Festival Asia and later at the Indonesian Film Festival in 2023.
