Agnes Christina

Agnes Christina is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores the complexities of everyday human experiences and the ways in which individuals negotiate them. Her work often takes the form of performance, painting, embroidery, and fashion. Agnes’s visual art has been presented in notable platforms such as Bazaar Art Jakarta, ARTJOG, the Jogja Biennale, Singapore Art Week, and Sydney Contemporary. Her plays have been published by Aurora Metro (UK) and Kalabuku, and her anthology Forbearance/Utang Emosi was awarded the prestigious Anugerah Sastra! 2024 by Indonesia’s Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. Her clothing line, @leafthief.id, continues to grow a loyal following among audiences in both Indonesia and Singapore.
